Who is responsible for your information?
JB Hair is operated by Jackie Bremner, a sole trader trading as JB Hair, based in Gravesend, Kent.

Information collected through this website
The public website does not currently provide customer accounts, online booking, online payments or a contact form.
If you choose to allow optional analytics, the website records limited technical information about use of the site. This includes:
- a randomly generated visitor identifier;
- a randomly generated session identifier;
- the page viewed;
- general device type;
- browser type; and
- the referring website, where this information is supplied by your browser.
The analytics system is operated directly by JB Hair and does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or another third-party advertising analytics service.
Why analytics are used
Optional analytics help JB Hair understand how the website is used, such as the number of visitors, the types of devices used and how visitors find the site. This information is used to assess and improve the website.
Consent
Optional analytics are based on your consent. Analytics identifiers are not created and an analytics pageview is not sent unless you choose to accept analytics.
You can reject analytics and continue to use the website normally. Rejecting analytics does not prevent access to any part of the public website.
Browser storage
The website uses browser storage rather than traditional advertising cookies for its first-party analytics.
If analytics are accepted, a random visitor identifier is stored in your browser's local storage so the website can distinguish a returning browser. A random session identifier is stored in session storage for the current browser session.
The website also remembers your analytics choice so that it does not repeatedly ask you to make the same choice.
How long analytics information is kept
JB Hair's website analytics records are intended to be retained for no longer than 12 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised where they are no longer required.

The first-party analytics information is stored on the system used to operate the JB Hair website and its protected analytics dashboard. It is not used for advertising or sold to advertisers.
Your data protection rights
